Autumn 2017
The crickets are a nightly symphony, our tomatoes are ripening by the bushel and the days seem just a tad shorter. These signs all add up to autumn being just around the corner. Here are 2 summer creations and a few fall invitations. Please take a look at a sample of The Wholeness in Motion™ Companion flipbook which I have been creating this summer. If you've been curious what Wholeness in Motion™ is all about this flipbook should give you a flavor of the work. There is a link to an article/hand-out about applying the coordinating suspension system model in the music education environment. It lays out the difference between the alignment paradigm and the coordinating suspension system paradigm. It proposes an new approach to teaching about the body and movement based on this new perspective. You can use this to explore any practice you do from music making to Yoga to running.
I am excited to announce a new Introductory Wholeness in Motion™ series that you can do on your own time and place. Try a first class free! There is more information below about the Introductory class and the on-going Wholeness in Motion™ and LearningMethods™ groups that are open to new participants this fall.
I am incredibly grateful to the work of Joshua Hill and Megan Brenneman for their work in initiating the establishment of Mo(i)r Light Inc. The Center for Sound Music Education. More info below.
Autumn Schedule of workshops and session below.
May kindness flourish,
Babette
