Hill Country Film Festival Happenings 

August is more than back-to-school for the HCFF team. It means the start of another fest (our 9th) and another free screening at Fritztown Cinema. Read on - join the fun!

Calling All Filmmakers

The 2018 Hill Country Film Festival is open for submissions. We would love to see your latest project for a chance to be a part of the BEST LITTLE FILM FESTIVAL in Texas. Don't just take our word for it -- filmmakers have spoken and HCFF is a Top 100 Best Reviewed Festival on Film Freeway. Hooray! 

And like the last two years, we are offering cash prizes to the BEST OF FEST and BEST TEXAS winners THANKS to our incredible festival partner, Pedernales Cellars

Short Films are Back at Indie Film Series 

In partnership with Fritztown Cinema, Indie Film Series will be held this Sunday, August 20 at 5:30 p.m. The screening will feature a collection of short films from the 2017 festival, including some award winners and staff picks. Here is another chance to see these fantastic shorts on the big screen.
