Hello Dear Friends,
I apologize for taking such a long time to communicate with you. Those of you that know me well, will have a hard time believing that I have stayed quiet for so long. All I can say is, "life happens" and I'm not always diligent about sharing. Never the less, I'm happy to share with you that God continues to bless River Valley Christian Life Corps.
Most recently, we were very blessed to receive a visit from the Women on Mission from Oakgrove Baptist Church in Van Buren. They toured our office,bringing joy, laughter, and gifts for our participants. They truly are a fun group and their servant hearts will be remembered for a long time.
I want to share with you some news from Amanda Yates, our Executive Director:
River Valley Christian Life Corps is delighted to announce its expansion!! Services will remain at the 320 N. Greenwood Ave. office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, however, we are opening a satellite site on the Helping Hand Ministry Campus of Grand Avenue Baptist Church on Wednesdays starting in September. Your faithful donations continue to help disciple new believers and will now also be helping RVCLC reach even more people in the River Valley area. RVCLC will continue to provide the same mentoring services at the satellite location, as well as, provide Bibles, Bible studies, groceries, clothing, graduation gifts and fellowship lunches. We also put your donations toward training staff members, office facility rent, utilities, and general supplies.
As we move forward in this new adventure please be in prayer for new participants as they commit to moving their lives forward, harmonious relationships as teams meet and work together, and for sensitivity to the Holy Spirit’s leading.
We are all very excited to see where God will take us on this journey. Please continue to pray for us as we begin this in September. Also, for our needs, they are mentors, board members, donations for National Accreditation education. We also need size 12 ladies underwear.. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
