Mitch and Murray Productions fans,

Thank you to all of our supporters who have donated in the first week of our fundraiser.  We're over a 1/3 of the way to reaching our fundraising goal, and we'll need to meet our $15,000 goal by September 8th in order to bring the Canadian premiere of SMART PEOPLE to Vancouver this November.  With another year of no public funding, we're keeping our show alive through donations and sponsorship.

With the unfortunate events unfolding in the United States at the moment, this play seems even more relevant than ever and we're honored to be presenting it during a perilous time in North American culture.  Art has always been most important during turbulent eras.

As the great Nina Simone said, "It is an artist's duty to reflect the times."

Thank you for your support,
The gang at Mitch and Murray Productions
