The Wait Is Almost Over!

As I write this newsletter, Jennifer and I are just 5 days away from moving to Estelí, Nicaragua! It’s been an amazing journey to get us this far… but in reality, we’re just getting started! Thank you all so much for your constant prayers and faithful support during this time of preparation. Now, we’re just a few days away from realizing the dream God put in our hearts 4 years ago. 

I’ll never forget August, 2013. While on a trip to Nicaragua, God made it evidently clear that our lives were about to change forever. I had been pastoring the great church, Park Lake Baptist Church for 18 years, leading teams from our church to Nicaragua year after year. But on that 13th trip to Nicaragua, God blew us away with the call to plant churches in Nicaragua. From that day until now, God has been preparing us, building us, teaching us, and connecting us to hundreds of people who have helped us get to where we are today. Thank God for His wisdom and preparation.

Mission Trips = Ministry Boosters

This summer we were privileged to lead 3 mission trips. Two to Estelí where the groups helped us prepare the house/church for our church planting ministry. And one to Costa Rica with our sending church - Central Baptist Church, Tyler, TX. Once again God used the amazing tool of mission trips to accomplish His purpose and see souls saved. We hope you’ll consider coming to help us one day

First Order of Business, Buy A Vehicle

In less than a week, we will be in Nicaragua with no vehicle. We must find and purchase a good, used, 4x4 vehicle. Please pray we find just the right vehicle that will last a long time and help us accomplish our ministry goals. Remember, we’re in this together. We can’t do it without YOU! We are Your representatives in Nicaragua. Thank you being on our team!
