We're happy to announce our film lineup for Fall 2017. Now in our 29th year, the International Film Series continues to evolve in bringing free, enriching programming to the university and local Richmond community. Highlights for Fall 2017 include the annual African Film Weekend, which will feature films of African heroes, a film screening and concert with Tuareg musician/actor Mdou Moctar, an animated Japanese film, and much more - only at the International Film Series!

This annual festival of contemporary film features a selection of the most highly-acclaimed work produced throughout Africa and the diaspora. The 2017 festival is presented by Dr. Kasongo Kapanga of the University of Richmond and guest curator Dr. Aliko Songolo of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
