August 10th, 2017

Our Library Tasting series is back and selling out fast!
We are kicking it off on August 18th with a very favourite winery of mine, Church & State Wines.
Scott will be here from Church & State Winery pouring some of their Library wines and new vintages that have not even hit the shelves yet!

This, along with our amazing charcuterie boards of cured meats, Fraser Valley Smoked duck, local cheeseries, preserves and tapenade, this is an unforgettable experience only offered in the Province by Sardis Park Wines.

Tickets are $49 and sell out fast. 6-8pm so please let us know if you would like to attend this event!
Also, please see below for some other limited Library Tastings for Fall!

This weekend, we are pleased once again from 3-6pm to offer our charcuterie boards for two and wine flights!
These are available for Happy Hour and to parallel our tastings from 3-6pm Friday and Saturday.

Our feature wines this weekend include emerging regions and emerging varietals as Friday we are offering from North Okanagan to West Kelowna as we taste the emerging regions of Lake Country and West Kelowna along with a new winery, Indigenous.
Along with this, we are tasting a varietal not widely planted in BC, Zweigelt which is an Austrian Varietal.

Saturday, we explore Oliver/Osoyoos as we taste the Stoneboat new vintages, a new winery and the best value red in British Columbia.

Come taste, come and have charcuterie and enjoy the weekend with us!
Cheers,

See below for details!

Hope to see you this weekend,
Cheers,

The 2016 Rosé is a blend of Pinot Noir and Zweigelt grown in Carr's Landing, Okanagan Centre and West Kelowna. To make this wine we crush the grapes and hold them in a tank for 12 to 24 hours or just long enough for the juice to extract a small amount of color from the skins. As soon as the juice takes on a light pink hue, we press it from the skins and ferment it cool to preserve the lovely berry and floral aromas. Blend: 71% Pinot Noir, 29% Zweigelt.

Tasting Notes
The bouquet has aromas of strawberry, cranberry, grapefruit and rose petals. The palate is rich and full, presenting abundant fruit flavor and a touch of minerality on the finish.

Stoneboat Vineyards 2016 Gravelbar Chorus $20.86+taxes
NEW VINTAGE RELEASE~UNIQUE BLEND~CLUB SPW WINE

Stoneboat Vineyards is a family-operated estate winery in Oliver, BC that produces red, white, rosé and dessert wines. A Stoneboat is a flat sledge for carrying stones; originally used to clear vineyards of river rocks. Stoneboat’s name is a tribute to the original caretakers of the Vineyard, who laboriously cleared the land of rocks to cultivate it. Chorus was created to capture the best traits of Stoneboat vineyards’ original white varietals. Difficut, if not impossible to replicate in BC, this blend sets the intense aromatics of old-vine Germanics against an orchard, fruit driven, mineral backdrop of Pinot Blanc. Schönburger, Muller-Thurgau and Pinot Blanc.

“Layers of luch tropical fruits and floral notes are abundant in this vintage. Fresh acidity, balanced by a slight touch of residual sugar, ensures a fresh, juicy wine. It is at its best when sipped or paired with shellfish, light Thai curries or halibut.”

Pipe Dreams 2014 Zweigelt $30.26+taxes

NEW WINERY~NEW WINE IN STORE

A lesser-grown varietal in BC, offering aromas of ripe blueberry, plum, black cherry, fig and vanilla. The palate is round and smooth as the ripe strawberry, prune plum and mixed berry fruit combines with the soft acidity, giving a rich texture that lingers through the finish. Enjoy with homemade pizza on the grill, pastas, lighter meats and vegetarian dishes.

Located on the valley floor below Macintyre Bluff, Oliver BC, our small 3.41 acre estate vineyard was blessed with 1,699 growing degree days in 2014. Sunshine followed with exhaustive canopy management which produced quality mature grapes at harvest. Our dreams became reality after more hard work during harvest of Zweigelt on October 10, 2014. The grapes were de-stemmed, crushed and fermented in small batches, with aging completed in oak barrels and stainless steel drums. Blending and bottling took place mid September, 2015 to bring our dream to your table.
