At long last, the end of the renovations is in sight. It has been an eventful journey and one that will provide much amusement in the years to come. We had not fully considered the possibility of closing the gallery whilst the works were underway, but we had to! We took advantage and made some serious internal upgrades to one of the rooms and lots more changes behind the scenes.
Please come and join us to celebrate our first year in Kirkbymoorside and the reopening of the gallery. The grand reopening, complete with exciting new works on display will take place on 2nd September, from3pm until 7pm. Come and be a part of the celebration, join us for a glass of fizz and be the first to see the all new and improved Bils & Rye! We hope all the work will have been completed but it may be that the external decoration will require more attention after the opening.

New Sculpture! We are delighted to be welcoming Nicola Theakston to the gallery with a bronze hare head fresh from the foundry. More details at the launch.

We are delighted to be working with Lara Scobie from the reopening date with her latest works in porcelain.

Fantastic new sculptures from Anne-Sophie Gilloen have now arrived, each bringing its own new character to the gallery and a smile to the face of all who see them
