Hey Coyotes!!
We hope you are all enjoying your summer and feeling the need to "cool off" soon by getting back out on the ice! Even though many of you have been back in your "cooler" northern homes or lounging pool-side or playing golf, the Coyotes Club members have been actively preparing for the 2017 fall season.
CCC Board Update:
To kick off our new season, we have two new Board Members: Debbie Aubrey and Wes Seeger - welcome to the CCC Board! Our new officers are: Jeff Baird - President, Wayne Fleming - Vice President, Carl Thompson - Secretary and Mike Siggins - Treasurer.
Fall League Information:
Registration for Season #1 of the 2017/18 curling season is right around the corner! Beginning at noon, Saturday, August 12th you will be able to register for leagues and renew your CCC membership. We have some great leagues and we are even more excited to provide a new Premium Club membership.

Membership Types:
2017/18 Annual Membership - Premium - $150 - NEW!
- Ability to register for CCC Leagues that you are eligible for
- Membership in the US Curling Association (USCA)
- Membership in the Mountain Pacific Region (MoPac)
- Ability to register for USCA & MoPac events for which you are eligible
- Ability to reserve practice ice
- A personalized Coyotes Curling Club name badge.
- A free subscription to the USCA newspaper "Curling News" so that you won't miss out on any curling news and events across the United States.
- Access to Coyote Board meetings and Curling Club events.
- Practice sessions, both open and private, at no additional charge.
- League sparing at no additional charge, provided member is currently registered in at least 1 league during the season in which member wants to spare.
- The opportunity to make friends and enjoy an evening out in a social yet competitive group.
2017/18 Annual Membership - Basic - $75
- Ability to register for CCC Leagues that you are eligible for
- Membership in the US Curling Association (USCA)
- Membership in the Mountain Pacific Region (MoPac)
- Ability to register for USCA & MoPac events for which you are eligible
- Ability to reserve practice ice

League Types:
Full League descriptions are posted on cccmember.com under Curling / League Information. Leagues available for registration include:
- Monday MEN'S League - S1A - 6:30pm - 9/18-10/30 - 7 games - $175
- Tuesday Championship League - S1 - 6:30pm - 9/19-12/19 - 14 Games - $350
- Wednesday Women's League - S1A - 6:30pm - 9/20-10/25 - 6 games - $150
- Thursday Competitive League - S1 - 6:30pm - 9/21-12/21 - 10 games - $250
- Friday Fun League S1 - 6:30pm - 9/22-12/22 - 9 Games - $225

Olympic Winter Games 2018
CCC's strategic planning for the upcoming season includes driving and managing the increased interest in curling as a result of the 2018 Olympic Winter Game. Bucky Marshall, a life-long curler, CCC member and Chair of CCC's Olympic Committee, was recently interviewed by USA's Curling Director of Growth and Development.

New FUND-RAISING PROJECT:
Can you hear me now? Yes, we have a sound issue in the ice-house that we want to address. There are plans in place to make measurable improvements in the sound quality. To do so will add to our annual expenses and we would encourage you to contribute to this project. You can do so directly by going to:

REGISTRATIONS ARE COMING IN FOR UPCOMING FALL EVENTS - get your registration in before they fill up!
1st Annual Donna Purkey Classic - Oct 6 - 8, 2017
The Coyotes Curling Club is hosting the 1st Annual Donna Purkey Classic as an annual Circuit Event sanctioned by the USWCA. This women's bonspiel will be held Oct 5 - 8, $400 per team, maximum of 32 teams with a 3-game guarantee. Registration is now OPEN at

Performance Camp - October 13 - 15, 2017
Russ Howard's 3-day Academy of Curling is almost filled - only 2 team slots and several individual slots left! You can still sign up as a team (Friday, Oct 13, 9am - 5pm and Saturday, Oct 14, 8am -12) or individually (Saturday, Oct 14, 1 - 5pm and Sunday, Oct 15, 9am - 5pm). Cost for each session (individual and team) is $225 per person - so if you sign up for both, the total fee will be $450. Go to

The SuperHero U5 Bonspiel - Oct 27 - 29, 2017
An open bonspiel for all curlers with less than 5 years of curling experience. Have some fun - dress up as your favorite superhero and win the costume contest! The entry fee is $100 per person with a 24-team limit and a 3-game guarantee. You may enter as a team or individually. Lots of prizes and fun! Go to

The Fall Fiesta - Nov 9 - 12, 2017 REGISTRATION NOW OPEN
