Fellow Republicans,

The Republican Party of Hawaii joins President Trump in condemning the acts of violence and terrorism by white supremacists, and all acts of violence and lawlessness committed today in Charlottesville.  Our Constitution guarantees us all the right to express ourselves freely, and assemble peaceably, but there is no place in our country, democracy or political discourse for this kind of despicable behavior.  We send our deepest condolences and aloha to the families of all of the victims, particularly the loved ones of the two members of Virginia’s law enforcement who gave their lives today in the line of duty.  We, as a nation and a people, must do better.
