Nationals Update

A brief meeting of the NY Division of the USCA during the end of year banquet to vote on donating funds towards the 2018 Nationals. It was agreed that the NY Division will donate $1500 towards NYMCRA's hosting of the 2018 nationals! Our next organizational meeting will be held on Saturday Dec 2 at Finger Lakes On Tap in Skaneateles at 1:30pm. All are welcome. We are also always taking more volunteers. End of the Season Banquet

Earlier this Month on Nov 4, we held our end of season banquet at the Sunset Restaurant in Auburn NY. Prizes were handed out for the winners of the NYMCRA Points Races and for those who qualified for the 200 mile and 400 mile race shirts. The race of the year (as voted by those in attendance) was the Madrid Canoe Weekend. BOD elections were held and Dylan Kirk and Phoebe Fisher Reese were added as new BOD members. It was suggested that we add annual awards (most improved, rookie of the year, etc) to be awarded at future banquets...Stay tuned!
