National Summit Success
Member organizations from around the country joined together earlier this month to do a few things only a network of committed people can do. We created, for the first time, a series of best practices that affirm our program member's operational practices and give guidance to new programs. Those looking to employ our effective model of training and supporting youth-serving agencies will have a new tool we are proud of.
We welcomed new and aspiring members from Colorado and Minneapolis and celebrated the official announcement of the Appalachian Mountain Club's YOP Program joining the Network (see below). We also heard about courageous, inspiring work being taken on by Bay Area Wilderness Training and the YOP Program as they look to make their organizations more inclusive. And all of it in a gorgeous coastal setting with perfect November weather. Yes! Read more about the Summit along with pictures on our latest blog post.
