Evergreen screens provide exclusion of sights and sounds. In Winter, a client may want the light that is blocked in warm weather. You can choose a deciduous plant (Carpinus, or Hornbeam, e.g.) that shades in warm weather but in Winter allows light's passage. Check out our plants tagged for hedging at our website.
