Award-winning books!

This week we enjoyed watching the livestream of the National Book Awards ceremony. Said to be publishing's version of the Oscars, it was a glamorous affair, with presenters such as Cynthia Nixon, Anne Hathaway, and Bill Clinton, and, more importantly, well-deserved prizes awarded to talented authors who responded with eloquent acceptance speeches. BRUNCH WITH A BOOK
To celebrate these prize-winning books, we are happy to announce our new Brunch with a Book series. I will be leading two events in the private dining room at El Poquito in Chestnut Hill to talk about two books, this year's winner of the National Book Award for Fiction, SING, UNBURIED, SING by Jesmyn Ward, and this year's winner of the Man Booker Prize, LINCOLN IN THE BARDO by George Saunders.
