BOLT Threads: Big Ideas Alumnus launches company

David Breslauer narrates his journey from a UC Berkeley PhD student to Chief Strategy Officer of BOLT Threads, a bioengineering company that turns man-made spider silk into apparel. Breslauer won the 2007 Big Ideas contest for his biomimetic work. View the photo story here!

Blum-nominated innovators take UNLEASH 2017

Blum-supported talents won big at UNLEASH, a week-long global innovation lab held in Denmark that tackled a variety of social development categories such as Food, Health, and Urban Sustainability. Read more here.
