Lampshades
I've been making lots of new lampshades featuring prints from some of my most popular batiks. Following the fabulous exposure on Grand Designs, I've had heaps of orders for prints and lampshades. Thank you to everyone, I'm almost up to date, your feedback has been fantastic!

I've recently added the Meadow Blues and Charm of finches to the range increasing the current range to 6 designs which can either be hung from a ceiling pendant or fixed to a table lamp. They are 30cm in diameter and priced at £49 each (plus p+p). I think they'll make fab Christmas presents!

More New Work
I am constantly adding new designs to my website shop and my Etsy shop. Some you may have seen before at shows, others might be completely new. I have added a 'new work' section on my homepage so you can see at a glance items added in the last few months such as the detailed single Blackbird On Crab Apples, Longtail On Cherry and Sparrows on Japonica. Several other designs will be added shortly in time for the Christmas deadline so watch this space!

DESIGNED FOR CHRISTMAS 5th-16th December at The Weavers Gallery, Church Street Ledbury, I'll be selling in a joint exhibition with 5 other makers for 2 weeks (closed on Sundays)

Batik and Birdwatching Holiday 2018
Our second Portugal holiday was great fun, I took a smaller group this time which worked really well, we enjoyed plenty of creativity, inspiration, relaxation and humour.

Thank you to everyone who came, it was such a pleasure getting to know you all, also to Frank and Daniela for the wonderful homely environment they provided for us, with the finest cuisine!

My batik week is followed by another art week where my great friend Lucy Gell is running a printmaking holiday at Frank and Daneila's with a very similar format so if you cannot make my dates or have done the batik and want to try something different have a look at some of the reviews from Lucy's previous workshops and get in touch with Lucy while she still has places free on her printmaking week from 2nd - 9th June 2018.

The weather this October was warm enough to swim in the lake, the birding not as exciting as June, however we thoroughly enjoyed the wax bills, water rail and the Kingfishers as you see in the stunning photographs above taken by Frank.
