"As we head toward the holidays it is a good time to be thankful for the year we have had.  We wish all our customers, suppliers and subscribers a happy holiday season.  I would like to take this opportunity to also thank all of the employees in our Dennes Engineering family for their continued efforts. Since our last newsletter we have had some interesting jobs flowing through our workshop and some exciting opportunities for our Trade division, which you can read about below."  - Harley Nash

Last month we completed over 175 jobs. In this newsletter you will find a taste of the services that we have offered. If you have some similar work or have an interest in any parts or services please get in touch.
Anilox Rollers
Not everyone who visits our workshop knows that we are very involved in the printing and paper industries.  This month we are featuring our Anilox roll manufacturing.  Anilox rolls are used to transfer a measured amount of ink onto a printing plate.  Imagine tiny little pockets that can collect ink and then transfer specific amounts onto a plate.  We can accommodate a wide variety of pocket sizes depending on the amount of ink needed for printing. We manufacture new rolls from scratch as well as re-machine and grind existing rolls.
Trade
We have recently partnered up with Teng Tools South Africa as their official re-seller.  We will be stocking and selling Teng Tools directly to our customers. Keep an eye out on our website and their social media pages for more details. 
If you subscribe to their new monthly newsletter (before 13 Dec 2017), you stand a chance to WIN a Teng Tools hamper, as well as be one of the first to receive their monthly specials.
Customer relationships
You may have noticed that we have updated our branding and social media presence.  We are trying to grow our footprint and share the incredible services our business offers.  If we have helped you, and you feel we could add some value to your customers, please let us know and we can deliver a flyer stand with our awesome new advertising material.  We have also started visiting new and existing customers on Fridays. Please pop us an email if you would like us to come around and discuss any projects with you and we can make a turn when we are in your area.
Networking
This past month we have presented our business and services at both the Western Cape Tooling Initiative (WCTI) network evening and the Woodstock Moto Co (WMC) Garage Build Show.  Both events were really exciting and we look forward to participating in them again next year! Thank you to everyone who interacted with us, it was great meeting and discussing our workshop, trade and services.  Both the WCTI and the WMC are amazing organisations placing high value on networking, community and education.  Well done to John McEwan and Devin Paisley and their respective teams.

Journeymen
As many of you know, all of us here at Dennes love anything mechanical!  However you may not have heard about the after hours passion project next door.  The Journeymen Workshop has been going for 3 years now as a space to work on and restore classic and vintage vehicles.  If you like this kind of thing, check out the short video below and give them a follow on their social media!  Also look out for their featured article in this month's issue of Classic Car Africa!
