Annual campaigns are not sexy. All of the funds we raise go toward our general operating costs, which include boring stuff like website security, phone usage, liability insurance, credit card processing fees, etc. BORING but necessary. However ...
Our general operating costs also include
- Our annual Blue Faery Award for Excellence in Liver Cancer Research
- Our HCC Patient Education Brochures, which are free to patients, their family members and their healthcare providers
- Our conference costs including admission and booth decoration fees
Most doctors find out about us from either their patients or by meeting us at a conference. Your generous gift allows us to educate and reach more patients. In the United States, most cancers are decreasing, but liver cancer is increasing due to Hepatitis C and Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease.
