World of Speed Motorsports Museum
We have been discussing a bus trip to the World of Speed Motorsports Museum in . Right now they have the 'American Muscle Car' exhibit and several others thru the end of the year. ... When asked who wanted to go, about 20 hands went up. It will be an all day trip. Details about the Museum are HERE
BREAKING NEWS! Karen Buckmaster and CJ Booth have been working to arrange a bus, and get related costs. This from Karen on Facebook: "The trip to the car museum is on December 2nd. I need 14 people to sign up for the bus to make it cost effective for everyone! We need to book ASAP!" ... If I get a huge response we can add another bus.
If you want to go, you must let us know now! We Must confirm the bus!
The Date is Saturday, December 2. Leaving True Value parking lot at 8:00 AM
The Bus is $50/Hr. and can take 14 people. We plan on about 10 hours. That is about $36 each for the bus, if we are full. Admission is $10 or $8.50 Seniors. We will stop somewhere for lunch, TBD.
If you want to go, you must RSVP Now... So we can confirm the bus.

Veterans Day Parade

It is a great tradition of the Rhody Cruisers to support the Veterans Day Parade, and Honor our Veterans.

10 Rhody Cruisers brought their cars out in the rain to Honor Our Veterans in Florence.
It was a hard rain and our windows mostly up. I was very impressed how many Florence citizens came out to stand in the downpour, and cheer our veterans. Many thanks to those who came out, and thanks to the veterans for their service and participation with Rhody Cruisers.

Next: Rhody Cruise-In
There will be no December Cruise-In. Instead we will be at the Adobe.

Christmas Brunch...

Speaking of great Rhody Cruisers traditions, every year we all roll to Yachats for a Christmas Brunch at the Adobe...

At the last meeting, we decided to continue tradition and go to the Adobe in Yachats.
