Dear Cooking & Eating Friends:

The harvest time is coming to a close here at Rabbit Hill and our kitchen is up and running!
The dining room table is groaning with ripening Goldman's Italian American heirloom tomatoes, butternut and delicata squashes, and Winter Luxury Pumpkin.
Even though the deer pressure was extraordinary this year (it appears that the local wildlife also enjoy eating at Cheryl Wixson's Kitchen), our pumpkin harvest was excellent.
We made a run of Pumpkin Maple Butter to stock our pantry and yours.   Be prepared to whip up  holiday treats like pumpkin pie, pumpkin snack cakes and pumpkin maple cheesecake bars.
Share the bounty of Maine's harvest season harvest with your family and friends.
We'll ship a Harvest Gift Box right to their door in time  to make your favorite apple pie.
The "hurricane" that blew through Maine left us off the power grid for seven days.  Just when temperatures started to dip, the electricity was back and Flip started bottling sparkling cider.  We'll be releasing some soon, and will be sure to invite you to the party! 
During this busy season, we stop to give thanks for all our blessings, and our family and friends.  Thank you for supporting Maine agriculture!
