Arcadia Publishing, known for printing local history books, will release the new title in the fall of 2018.
"The Tennessee River has influenced culture and life here in northwest Alabama for hundreds of years," Barske said, "and, as we move into the 21st century, it continues to do so. Focusing on the river's impact, the exhibit will travel to libraries, museums, community centers, colleges, archives and other venues. The river--MSNHA's main interpretive theme--also will be a strong element of the website design, Barske added.
"We want to update our website to be relevant and accessible for MSNHA residents and visitors alike," she said, "and to be a place where we can highlight our partners and community collaborations."
