Praise God For What He Has Done!
A ministry year with CEF begins in September with Good News clubs and ends in August when the last 5-Day Club is over. All that is done centers around evangelizing and discipling boys and girls with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus. We don’t do this for the numbers but to give hope and life to children growing up in a dark world. "As evangelists we want to be people who are more concerned with our faithfulness in presenting Christ thoroughly than we are with results. We want to be the kind of evangelists who take people more seriously than to manipulate them into a prayer of commitment. And we want to be people who present the Gospel with care, knowing spiritual lives are at stake." (J. Mack Stiles)
     We are ever aware that it is the Holy Spirit at work in the lives of children  bringing them to Christ. The training received through CEF keeps that in the forefront of what is presented. It is an amazing privilege to watch the Lord work when we obey and faithfully do our part. Praise Him for what He does through our humble efforts.

We would like to invite you to participate with us in our 4th annual Verse-A-Thon on Saturday, November 12, 2016.
The Verse-A-Thon is a great way to hide God's Word in your heart while helping raise funds to continue the CEF ministry in the St. Croix Valley. The idea behind Verse-A-Thon is that each participant will find people to sponsor them by the verse. Upon registering, you will receive a sponsor sheet along with the official Verse-A-Thon Bible memorization sheet, from which to begin memorizing verses. The sponsor will pay by the verse quoted accurately at the Verse-A-Thon on November 12, 2‑4 p.m. at New Life Church in Dresser, WI. If you can't participate by memorizing, then encourage other participants by becoming a sponsor and join us at the Verse-A-Thon to see what it's all about!
The Verse-A-Thon will begin with 60 minutes of recitation at different stations to official Listeners. From there we will have a bonus round that will include the top 3 participants from each age group. The bonus round will end with prizes for the top 3 finishers.
Early registration ends October 7th so don’t delay in sending in your registration. The sooner you register, the sooner you get your packet and can begin memorizing! Feel free to make copies of the registration form (see sidebar) for all your friends and family, and let’s see how many people we can include in this exciting event! Final registration deadline is October 28th.

Simply send a text to 715-802-2272 with the amount you would like to contribute. Make sure to include the dollar sign before the amount. 
Example:  $25 cefstc (must be a money amount, space, text code shown to the left).  Within a few minutes, you’ll be sent a text with a link to register.  Click on the link and enter your cardholder name and credit or debit card information.  
Once your registration is complete, you will receive a text verification and a receipt via email. For future giving, simply send a text with the amount you wish to give, and it will process automatically!

Having finished my 3rd summer with CEF I can tell you that I have been changed and blessed by being a part of this ministry. It has been amazing to watch God use His Word to transform the lives of children, teens and adults.
