Welcome to our latest e-bulletin!

Charities and voluntary groups are the glue that holds local communities together. However, many charities and voluntary groups tackling social problems don't have access to the marketing, design, technology, management or strategic planning resources they need to succeed.

Through our SkillShare initiative, we make business talent available to charities and voluntary groups, free of charge. Our vital work helps groups to achieve their aims.

This year alone we have engaged 21 professionals on 41 pro bono projects benefiting young people, older people, education, health, environment, racial harmony and arts initiatives, plus many more.  The monetary value of these projects is in excess of £34k!

If your charity or voluntary organisation would like to be paired with a SkillShare Partner, or if you would like to become a SkillShare Partner and share your skills with the local community, please contact us.

Feedback from recent training:

“We found it very helpful. Jim gave useful feedback on our current systems and documentation, brought along some templates, updated us on various legislation on First Aid & PAT testing etc.  He also offered some good ideas for improvement and the best thing was that all of his suggestions were pragmatic”.  Christine Baker, Home-Start Central & West Cheshire

“Thank you so much for setting up this session for me.  It allowed me to rationalise the concept of Continuity planning.  John was very helpful and easy to talk to.  I really feel I got what I needed to go forward at Dial West Cheshire.  These type of links help small charities to develop and progress to a higher standard”.     Trisha Bell, Dial West Cheshire.

“Thank you for arranging a very relevant, well constructed and sensitively delivered seminar.  Bridge Community Farms will definitely benefit from this session”  Francis Ball, Bridge Community Farms
