START SIMPLE – SAM FELDT
While only in his early twenties, Dutchman Sam Feldt has become quite the deep house tastemaker of his day. With amazing remix work as well as solid hits like the early 2015 release ‘Show Me Love’, which proved to be his definite claim to fame, he’s one of the DJs to watch when it comes to a new sound flooding the scene. Sam Feldt is definitely not a stranger to the house music scene. After working behind the scenes as a producer for a long time, perfecting his musical talents, he decides to show the world what he’s capable of by uploading his first tunes by the end of summer ‘13. Within a year Sam signs with Spinnin’ Records and releases his first track on the label.
NO – NONSENSE HOUSE MUSIC – CLIVE HENRY
Clive is one of the UK’s longest standing flag-wavers for underground house music having been an original member of the West London house mafia, one half of the genre-defining tech house outfit Peace Division and resident at the world’s most musically influential nightclub DC10.

INTERSTELLAR  SYSTEM CHECK  CAJAK
Back in November last year, Interstellar was a small group of friends living in Ubud. They were quietly planning the biggest underground music and alternative lifestyle festivals ever to happen in Indonesia, the Eclipse Festival 2016 in Sulawesi.Fast forward to the present, one solar eclipse later and an epic festival attended by 5000 people under their belt, Interstellar have continued to pioneer the local scene by consistently bringing heavyweight techno acts to the island such as Minilogue, Shifted, Morphosis, and Jamie Bissmire. We spoke with Interstellar crew member and resident Laurent Cajak who has been active in the industry for over 15 years from Tokyo to Berlin to Bali about Interstellar, music and the scenes he has been part of.

FUNK SENSIBILITIES  SEBASTIEN LEGER

World renowned DJ Sebastien Leger is the complete anti-thesis to the dime-a-dozen beats of fellow Frenchman David Guetta. Classically trained from a young age and working in French clubs from his early teens, Leger mines a different sound to his counterparts, meshing the funk sensibilities of Detroit and Chicago’s musical histories with a proudly European edge and a cool determination. In addition to his knob-twiddling and remixing (including artists such as Justin Timberlake, Kylie Minogue and Armand van Helden), his DJing duties keep him busy, travelling around the world and staying at the forefront of electronic dance music.

FUNK MUSIC OBSESSIVE  MARK RONSON

In only the past decade, DJs have gone from niche scene-arbiters to some of the biggest names in music. The star DJ-producer, who creates his or her own music as well as spins, is the most powerful presence of all—and it's a role that can be traced back to the slim, nattily dressed shoulders of Mark Ronson, a soul and funk music obsessive from London. Ronson cut his teeth spinning in downtown New York hotspots in the mid-'90s. A diligent crate-digger, he'd pull from the curated collection of vinyl he'd brought along and mix obscure samples into his hip-hop sets. He gained a reputation for giving clubgoers a jolt of the unexpected while still rocking the house. The buzz commenced, and before long he was helming private blowouts for P. Diddy and Tommy Hilfiger (and modeling in the latter's ads).
ME AND YOU   M.A.N.D.Y.
There is an air of mystery shrouding the true meaning behind the acronym of M.A.N.D.Y., an alias which embodies the mutual talents of childhood friends Philipp Jung and Patrick Bodmer. The pair readily indulge this curiosity by toying with various clever possibilities, including Me AND You, but the truth is likely a giggle under each of their talented breaths. P and P have carved a unique niche in electronic music by consistently selecting productions that induce their audience into a somatic frenzy. On the platform of their aptly titled Get Physical label, M.A.N.D.Y. has achieved massive success in colluding to create music that simply makes bodies move. Their foot stamping, hair flying passion is the ultimate expression of a dance music phenomenon for many years.
DOUBLE DUTCH  DUBVISION

Dutch brothers Victor and Stephan Leicher are fast conquering the world of dance music as scintillating duo DubVision. With five Beatport Main Chart Top 10s, two Beatport Progressive House Chart #1s and a Beatport Electro Chart #1 to their name, they have marked themselves out as a serious force in the dance music scene. The duo have been conquering the world with their music for some time now. They’ve already gotten support from Hardwell, Tiësto, David Guetta and many more great artists. They’ve definitely proven that they’ve got what it takes to be a serious force in EDM.
