Bless this house...
As part of our new development of affordable homes in rural West Lancashire we are also building a church, a village hall and a cafe!

At a foundation stone laying event, the Reverend Kevin Jones said the development in Hesketh Bank was an important new start for local village communities.

Take a look at our other new developments under construction across Lancashire, Merseyside, Greater Manchester and Cheshire.

Historic court transformed into housing

St Helens-based M&Y Maintenance and Construction is busy working on its most ambitious project to date.

The company, which is a subsidiary of the Regenda Group, is converting the old court house at Wallasey into affordable housing.

The £2.1m project, which is in partnership with Wirral Council, will see the elegant exterior of the building retained and the interior transformed into 21 stylish apartments for rent.

Work on the old court house should be complete by next spring.

M&Y celebrates 35 years of growth

Staff at M&Y Maintenance and Construction are celebrating a milestone in the company’s history.

From humble beginnings 35 years ago, the business expanded, became part of the Regenda Group and now employs around 240 staff.

Offering an all-round service from day-to-day repairs to specialist contracts, the company delivers high quality property maintenance and construction services.

Happy birthday M&Y

Exceptional skills and commitment

M&Y Maintenance and Construction staff were delighted to be shortlisted for national awards.

Site supervisor Katie Miller (centre) picked up the title Manager of the Year at the annual Direct Works Forum Repairs and Maintenance Awards.

Planning support coordinator Jess Martlew and apprentice electrician Gary Flanagan were both runners-up in their categories. The awards celebrate the exceptional skills and outstanding commitment of staff employed in the housing repairs and maintenance industry.

Exciting new apprenticeship project

M&Y Maintenance and Construction has joined forces with St Helens Chamber to offer new training and employment opportunities to local young people.

Basic construction skills and health and safety will be followed by six months paid work experience and training. The initiative will help M&Y to nurture its own apprentices

Lord Mayor of Liverpool praises our apprentices

Teenagers taking part in a Regenda Homes apprenticeship scheme have impressed the Lord Mayor of Liverpool with their personal experiences of the project.

They described how the award-winning Comunity Wellbeing Apprenticeship project had offered some life-changing opportunities.
