NEW BUS SHELTER AD

CDA Promotes Health Providers

In the next couple weeks, the CDA will be rolling out ads in multiple platforms promoting its medical practices. On 8/22, CDA ads in Spanish, French and English will appear on 34 RideOn buses in the down-county area. Later next week, a direct mailer in English and Spanish will be sent to 10,000 area households featuring family, general and internal medicine practices. And on September 5, large CDA ads promoting CDA medical services will be displayed in 7 bus shelters down-county, where they'll remain through November.

Fresh locally grown vegetables, fruits (including cantolope and peaches), flowers, eggs, meats, herbs, bedding plants, along with hot food vendors make the market the place to go on Wednesdays. Often local musicians perform and children's activities are provided.

Adopt-a Highway Cleanup

Join volunteers from the Takoma/Langley community in picking up trash and recyclables along a one-mile section of NH Ave. Bags, gloves, neon vests, SSLs and refreshments provided.
