Otterspool Animal Haven's Fun Dog Show & Summer Fair 2016 Sunday 14th August Noon - 3pm

Dog Show Register on the day from1.00pm (Judging 1.30pm);

Entry Fee £2.00 per class or £5 for as many classes as you wish to enter.

Refreshments, Various Stalls, Pet Foods, Cakes, Bric-a-Brac, Books, Tombola etc.

Ample On Site Parking

Admission; Cars ~ £1.50p.

Pedestrians ~ 50p.

Woodford Neighbourhood Forum AGM Thursday 15th September 2016

WNF's 3rd Annual General Meeting will take place on Thursday 15th September 2016 at 8pm in the small hall of Woodford Community Centre.

Woodford War Memorial Community Centre's AGM Wednesday 28th September 2016

WWMCC's AGM will be at 7.30pm in the small hall on Weds 28th September

MacMillan Coffee Morning Saturday 1st October 2016

WWMCC will be supporting the wonderful MacMillan Fund on Saturday 1st October by holding a coffee morning accompanied by just the odd cake or two! Do come along and lend your support to this worthy and vital cause. Further details to follow soon.

The Sewing Sanctuary now has an additional timeslot 1pm - 3pm on Wednesdays during term time. This is the perfect opportunity for interruption free "me-time" for your sewing projects. Take your own sewing project and Sewing Sanctuary's teacher Kathryn Gurney will be there to help with the tricky bits.

Desperado - Eagles Tribute Band Evening

Desperado, the brilliant Eagles tribute band will be at Woodford Community Centre on Friday 7th October 2016. A two hour plus show which authentically recreates your favourite Eagles songs that changed the world of popular music forever with their infamous brand of Southern Californian Sunshine Rock, with a focus on great songs from ‘Long Road Out of Eden’ and ‘Hell Freezes Over’

KEMS Concert Band Sunday 16th Ocober 2016

The lovely KEMS concert band will be back on Woodford's shores again on Sunday 16th October in the large hall 1pm - 5pm. This is a fabulous event not to be missed and watch this space for further details. www.kems.org.uk

Early Winter Dates

November 5th will be, as usual, our Bonfire Night celebrations. Preparations have already begun and if you fancy the fun of helping out on the night we'd be delighted to hear from you. Bonfire night is WWMCC's main fund-raiser so it's a vital part of our calendar, it's a terrific community event and the more locals we have to muck in - the merrier!
