My grandmother Hazel had spark. She was fierce when it came to praying. In fact, I don't think she has stopped praying. Many of you, knew her well or have been a part of the ministry she created. I consider it both a honor and privilege to join Price Ministries. Recently, my aunt Suzanne invited me to take a bigger role in the Ministry as Administrative Director.
I have been struggling to describe what Price Ministries does. We send beautiful, unused clothing all over the world to support missionaries, but I'm coming to realize what many of you already understand. It's more than just clothing.
Over the past couple months we've been part of God's story by providing:
- Business attire to give confidence while fundraising
- An outfit to receive an honorary doctorate for humanitarian work on the mission field
- Clothing to replace what was given away while serving an impoverished community
- An extravagant gift to bless pastors in Cuba, where one jacket can cost two month's average wages
Price Ministries has the privilege of providing clothing for those who are following the call that God has places on their lives to serve and love others around the world. God is moving in incredible ways through these humble and gracious men, women and their families. In addition to continuing to support them with our resource of clothing, through our e-newsletter, I hope to give voice to their work so we can pray and be inspired to bear witness to God's work in our own story.
Over the past few months our clothing has traveled to Afghanistan, Cambodia, China, Croatia, Cuba, France, Guatemala, Haiti, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Romania and Russia. If you know of a mission trip or missionary who could benefit from clothing, please let us know.
