Dear <<First Name>>,

Welcome to Independent Publishing Now!, IBPA's monthly e-newsletter featuring the hottest news and information from IBPA and its members.

August has been action-packed for the IBPA team! Earlier this month, we sat down with IBPA's board of directors to work on advancements to IBPA's member types and benefits that will make this coming year an exciting time to be a part of IBPA. We also jetted off to Salt Lake City, Utah to attend the American Society of Assoiciation Executives' (ASAE's) Annual Conference and learn new way to provide even better service to IBPA members. Overall, August has been a month for putting into action our mission to lead and serve the independent publishing community through advocacy, education, and tools for success! We're very happy to serve.

The IBPA Staff from left to right: Paige Greco (Administrative Assistant), Joanne Kenny (Member Benefits Liaison), Angela Bole (CEO), Mimi Le (Project Manager), Terry Nathan (COO)

Of course, we weren't the only busy ones! IBPA members have been busy, too. Below you'll find this month's noteworthy member news. IBPA members can send notice of their accomplishments (TV appearances, special mentions, book signings, etc.) to Paige Greco at paige@ibpa-online.org. We look forward to featuring you in a future issue!

Sincerely,

Your IBPA Staff:
Angela Bole, Terry Nathan, Mimi Le, Joanne Kenny, and Paige Greco
