Labor Day: No School!

Scottsdale is far greater than most realize with nearly
7,000 students (27%) receiving free and reduced lunch.
The City of Scottsdale/Vista del Camino and SUSD
are again co-hosting the annual Back-to-School event
which will provide 1,000 students with two new outfits
and new school supplies.
The average cost per student is $200.
(All of these students have been pre-screened by
Vista del Camino or our own Community Specialists.)  

Back to school sales are happening everywhere!!
While you're out purchasing items from your student's
school supply list, consider picking up additional
(NEW) school supplies to be donated to
a student who could really use it!
Anything on your student's supply list such as
backpacks, paper, pencils, pens, highlighters,
glue sticks, crayons, composition notebooks,
and clothing such as socks, underwear, shoes,
pants, shirts, coats, etc. can be dropped off
in the donation box located inside
Saguaro HS front office.
**We will have a box to collect donations in the Cafeteria during Registration this week, too.
