Early birds accreditation

Nordisk Panorama Festival accreditation gives you access to all festival screenings, seminars and special events as well as to the Grand Opening on Friday 16 September.

DOK.Incubator Day at the Nordisk Panorama Film Festival

Starting Sunday morning 18 September, Nordisk Panorama will host several events to celebrate our new partnership with DOK.Incubator, an organization specializing in supporting documentary projects in the rough-cut stage.

Events with DOK.Incubator during the Sunday will be: 
-DOK.Incubator Preview, 10:00 at Cinema Panora 2.
-The Swedish Film Institute presents “Let’s talk about sex” at 15:30 in Panora 3.
-A Family Affair screening, 17:00 at Panora 3.

Nordisk Panorama Forum Selection Announced

More than 100 new documentary projects were submitted to the 23rd edition of Nordisk Panorama Forum for Co-financing of Documentaries by some of the very best producers and directors the Nordic region has to offer. The selection has now been announced.

A total of 24 pitch projects have been selected. On top of this, more than 20 observer+ projects have been selected for special access to meetings with decision-makers.

Nordisk Panorama Forum is the main funding event for the Nordic documentary community. It takes place in Malmö, Sweden 18-20 September during Nordisk Panorama Film Festival.

The deadline to fill in the Forum accreditation and apply for a forum seat was 1 August.

Nordisk Panorama Outlook
- Inspiring Industry Talks

NP Outlook 2016 will put emphasis on financing, distribution and sales – a must for filmmakers who want to stay in touch with the latest trends.

In our extensive Outlook programme we focus on the pros and cons with gradual release, reaching successful distribution online, making it in the States, the misconceptions around outreach work, the Nordic and international decision-makers and crowdfunding strategy in filmmaking.

In addition to this we invite you to put your short film to test and get live feedback regarding its distribution potential from the experienced short film distributors and buyers!

This year’s festival has NORWAY IN FOCUS. You can, among other things, dive into a Norwegian masterclass when Paul S. Refsdal, Director of the competition documentary Dugma – The Button and join us for the Our Dinner With... where renowned Norwegian Film Director Aslaug Holm and Swedish historian and writer Åsa Linderborg meet for dinner and discussion on a boat!
 
Get to know SWEDISH SIN! How about an E-orgy in the Orgasm Room, the Let´s talk about sex talk, the seminar Shame, Sex & Love and not to forget - the Short Film slot Lady Lust.
 
In DIGITAL DISRUPTION you can meet BoostHbg, get 2017 Hackaton sneak-peaks, pitch to Angel investor Hampus Jakobsen among others. We keep researching the gaming, the VR and the transmedia fields and how it connects to the film industry today and tomorrow.

When speaking about ANIMATION we will try to make it accessible for both dummies and the youngest, with Animated Docs as well as a presentation by Anidox when they present a case study of the animated documentary Cosmopolitanism.

With 24 HOUR CINEMATIC LIFE PUZZLE we address solving the life puzzle. Breakfast Cinema, Pool Cinema, Bike Cinema, Boat Cinema, Dinner Cinema, Knit-a-long Cinema, City walls Cinema, Midnight Cinema and Cinema in a loop should cover your needs, or at least get you curious.

Did you miss the Nordisk Panorama Competition Line-up?

On July 26 we released this year's competition programme containing 50 films from all Nordic countries divided in 3 competition sections (Best Nordic Documentary, Best Nordic Short Film and Best New Nordic Voice). Renowned representatives from the International and Nordic film business will make the 2016 jury and award the best of the best.

In the fourth section (Nordisk Panorama Audience Award, sponsored by the City of Malmö) the power is however in the hands of the filmgoers to appoint the winner of this year’s honouring audience award.
