The Institute for People and Technology (IPaT) will host its Fall Town Hall Meeting for the Georgia Tech community on Thursday, September 1, to discuss strategic research priorities and faculty opportunities for Fall 2016. Also, meet faculty and staff from around campus at our networking reception.

Each year, the GVU Center provides seed grants, with funding support from IPaT, to research initiatives committed to building on our success in interdisciplinary research and innovation in the human experience of computing.

This year we've awarded funding to three very diverse projects - from better collaboration between artists and technologists, to on-the-go rehab for stroke patients. The first GVU Brown Bag of the Fall semester, today at 11:30am, will be an overview of these exciting projects.

IPaT values our partnership with Georgia Tech researchers, and one of our goals is to assist in finding funding opportunities tailored to our diverse research community. Each month in the IPaT Insider we will provide links to upcoming proposals from various agencies, as well as to popular funding sites that are easily accessible to our research community.
