Changes Coming to the Registry


Next month, in September 2016, the Registry will become a joint project of the Newkirk Center for Science and Society at the University of California, Irvine, the University of Michigan Law School, and the Michigan State University College of Law. Simon Cole, Professor of Criminology, Law and Society and director of the Newkirk Center at  Irvine, will become the director of the Registry. Barbara O'Brien, Professor of Law at Michigan State University, will become Editor of the Registry. Catherine Grosso, Professor of Law at Michigan State University, will become an Associate Editor, as will Professor Cole. The current Editor and co-Founder, Samuel Gross, will become Senior Editor. Senior Researcher Maurice Possley and Research Fellow Klara Stephens will remain in their roles.
