The passage of the "Turtle Bill" this year was a huge win for our native Iowa turtles.  This bill requires the DNR to set protective seasons and catch limits to ensure healthy populations.  The DNR has sent their recommendations to the Governor.  Iowa Rivers Revival and our friends at Blank Park Zoo ask that you contact the Governor's Chief of Staff and tell them you support the DNR's recommendations
