Ākina Te Reo 2016, Hīkoi! Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori

We joined Te Taura Whiri i te Reo Māori and several other agencies to help stage the inaugural national celebration of Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori 2016 – and it was a great success with over 6,000 participants taking part in the parade. The event included kura and kōhanga reo tamariki, Members of Parliament, and Mayor Celia Wade-Brown. Ākina te reo – Give it a go!
