Ropin' it in August - East of Edmonton Style

We've got some great rodeos for you in August. Two Hills Rodeo is on for August 13th and 14th. A bench show and a horse show can be enjoyed free of charge and the rodeo starting at 6:00PM on Saturday and at 2:00 on Sunday.

St. Paul throws a huge Rodeo Week event annually and this year you can come out between August 28th and September 4th for tons of food, a talent search competition, lots of family events and activities, live musical performances and rodeo action throughout the weekend.

Vegreville Country Fair

Happening NOW!

The Vegreville Fair is a long-standing tradition in Vegreville and attracts crowds from near and far every year. Make sure you schedule the time to come out and enjoy the festivities between August 4th and 6th. This fun fair will finish up with a grand fireworks show on Saturday.

Come By the Hills Music Festival

This is an outdoor music festival preparing for its sixth annual run on August 12th and 13th in Wainwright. Since its inception, the festival has steadily grown in size and popularity. This year, you can bring the whole family for amazing music under the big sky along the Battle River. Enjoy a weekend of camping, gorgeous scenery, amazing music, great food and lots of memories to treasure all year.

Babas & Borshch Ukrainian Festival

It wouldn't be summer in East of Edmonton without the annual Babas & Borshch Ukrainian Festival in Andrew. This year, we celebrate 125 years of Ukrainian immigration to Canada - a high concentration of whom settled in our area. This amazing cultural celebration festival will feature food galore, dancers, music, exhibits, tours, workshops, kids activities, a Zabava and so much more! Head over to Andrew on August 20th and 21st to join in on this unique and much-anticipated celebration. Admission is free!
