Soybean Rust Update 2016
Dr. Jim Dunphy and Dr. Lindsey Thiessen give us a Soybean Rust Update. So far this year, no rust has been confirmed on any soybeans closer to NC than 260 miles. See where the rust has been spotted and see their recommendations for handling rust in soybeans HERE
2017 Double-Crop Insurance Changes
Effective in 2017: Continue to our website to see the changes  from USDA Risk Management Agency that have been made regarding the double-crop indemnity provisions in crop insurance.

Scott Brothers Continuing the Family Tradition

Brothers Frank and Wyatt Scott are recent recipients of the North Carolina Soybean Producers Association’s Annual Soy Scholarship and a part of the May 2016 graduating class from North Carolina State University. Both the scholarship and the CALS program helped them accomplish their after graduation goals,carrying on the 200 year old family tradition. This video highlights their career paths and how they plan to diversify Scott Brothers Inc.
