Let's Go Mountain Biking
Come join guys who love to bike ride. Any experience welcome. There are trails from Greens to Blacks. The trails are found at Francis Beatty Park in South Charlotte. Let's meet at 7:45am on this Saturday, August 6th, and plan to be on the trail by 8am. The trail takes about 45 minutes to go around the loop. Enjoy the ride and be home in time to still have a great family day. Gatorade and power bars provided.  When you enter Francis Beatty, meet at the parking lot located at the first left when entering the park.  Let Greg Ratzlaff know if you're interested. Take Me Out to the Ballgame!
It's summer, it's hot, it's the perfect time for a baseball game. The Charlotte Knights take on the famous Durham Bulls on Thurs Aug 25th at 7:05pm in Charlotte. Come join the men of Cross Park and sit in the right field Home Run porch area. If we get a group of 20 or more, tickets are $12 each with $2 included towards concessions. If we have under 20 going, tickets are $14 each. Please RSVP that you're interested in going to Greg Ratzlaff at gdratz@gmail.com by this coming Monday, Aug 8th.

Upcoming Fall Kick-Off Luncheon
We will be hosting our yearly Fall Kick-Off Lunch on Sunday, August 21st, after the worship service.  We'll be thanking all of our volunteers, as well as providing an opportunity to learn more about each of our volunteer teams and ways you can get involved.  Plan to join us for this time of gratitude and fellowship!  We need some volunteers to help us serve the meal.  Click HERE to sign up if you'd like to help!

Meals for Cross Park Families
Be on the lookout later today for an email with link to two more meal schedules!  Congratulations to Collin and Kerry Hawkes and Tim and Rebecca Jackson, as both families have welcomed new babies this week.  Use the links in the upcoming email to sign up if you can provide meals for these families.

Summer Children's Ministry Needs
Our children's ministry and nursery have several open volunteer positions this summer.  Please contact Christina (kids@crossparkchurch.org) or Kelsey (nursery@crossparkchurch.org) if you would like to serve on our regular rotation.  If you have not yet joined Cross Park, or if you've never served in our children's ministries before, we'd love to have you complete the process to serve.  Or, if you've served before, but haven't been on the schedule in awhile, please consider helping us care for the many children God has blessed our congregation with by serving in children's ministry this summer.

Summer Bible Study
Come join us for a summer Bible Study through the book of Galatians! We will be meeting on Wednesday nights from 7:00-8:30 pm at the home of Jason and Sarah Forest (401 Boyce Road, Charlotte, NC 28211). Join Our Music and Sound Teams!
If you have any musical gifts for any instrument or vocals, we would love for you to help lead our congregation in singing.  Contact Will Wingate at will@crossparkchurch.org, and he'll set up a time for a brief, informal audition in the coming weeks, to talk about how you could get involved and use the gifts God has given you to serve the church.  Also, we are in need of people who either know or are willing to learn how to operate a sound board and equipment - our sound team is essential to each week's music, and we would love to have more people involved.  Email Will if you'd be interested in joining our sound team.
