Welcome to the 2016/17 school year! With our first full week underway, it's time for the Crow Island Bulletin. The Bulletin will be delivered via email every other Wednesday - Please Read It! It will provide all the information you need to know about upcoming programs and events at Crow Island. We also encourage you to check the PTO website (http://crowisland36pto.org/) for more information about programs happening throughout the school year.

Upcoming Events and Reminders

Order Now! The Crow Island Directory App must be ordered by 9/10. No paper option will be available through the school. The 2016-17 App is live, so check out how great it is! The updates are automatic so if you purchased access last year you will see the update live now. If this is your first time using the App, follow these directions to download it.

Teacher and Staff Gift Fund - This is our annual fund to support the amazing teachers and staff at Crow Island. Your donations allow Room Parents to provide a generous holiday gift for your child's teacher and classroom associates, as well as personalized end-of-year gifts from the class. The fund provides gifts for associates who float between multiple classrooms as well as specials teachers, pupil services teachers and administrative staff who work with our children every day. Suggested contribution is $45 per student. Please consider contributing today. Thank you.

The Hot Lunch Program is back and we need volunteers to help pass out lunches. To order hot lunch, volunteer, or learn more about the program click here

The PTO Job Fair will be held at Crow Island on Friday 9/9: 8:15-9:30 a.m., 11:10-12:10 & 2:30-3:30 p.m.. Click here to learn more and sign up to support a committee. There are more than 50 PTO committees working on projects throughout the year - plenty of opportunities for everyone to get involved.

Winnetka Public Schools Board of Education - The Winnetka Caucus Council is actively seeking school board candidates. If you value education and want to play a vital role in ensuring the best education for the children of Winnetka, consider getting involved. Apply by 9/3. Click here for additional information.

Grade Parent Parties - Save The Date(s) - It's a fun annual tradition for Crow Island parents to gather in the fall. Details will follow soon via evites.
