Schwalm Embroidery Made Easy with this Shopping Size Bag - £45 Thursday 6th April or Saturday 8th April 2017
Schwalm embroidery originates in Germany in a region along the Schwalm River. It typically includes heart shaped designs, the heart seen as a symbol of love and friendship. This 'shopping sized' bag is made of natural dyed hessian and the embroidery is worked with cotton perle thread using a number of different stitches including pulled thread work. This is Schwalm embroidery made easy!  The bag handles are decorated with stitching and the bag is lined with calico. It measures 15 1/2" x 13".  This particular design is from Australia.
