When one door closes...

Hello <<First Name>>

I now have a date for my back surgery – Tuesday 30th August. This means a hospital stay of two or three days and not working for several weeks. It therefore seems logical at this time to schedule the transfer of my Lancaster practice to my clinic where I live, namely The Channings, Lancaster Road in Forton. After almost five years at Jo & Cass, it is time to move on. Huge thanks to Jo and Graham for having me. However, I am NOT RETIRING!

My last working day in Lancaster will be Friday 26th August. Work at Knott End and The Channings will re-commence on Monday 3rd October and 4th October respectively.

Travel Directions to The Channings

From Lancaster
Take the A6 South past Lancaster University through Galgate. At the motorway junction, go straight ahead at the roundabout. Watch for Pennine Garage & Car Sales on the right, Whinney Brow Lane on the left, School Lane on the right and the yellow speed camera on the right. Slow down when you see it and signal left. The Channings gates are on your left directly opposite Oakfield Nursing Home. Turn in at the drive gates and continue until you pass the house. Park between the house and the studio.

From Garstang and further south
Take the A6 North. Watch for the Holly pub/restaurant on the right. Prepare to slow down and signal right, as soon as you see Robinson’s Mammoth Onion sign on the left. The Channings is directly opposite Oakfield Nursing Home. Turn in at the drive gates and continue until you pass the house. Park between the house and the studio.

NB If you use Satnav, it will take you into the Mammoth Onion! Ignore that.

If you do today what you did yesterday, don’t be surprised if you get yesterday’s results.

I was hit on the head by the First Aid box...

But it’s not as bad as being knocked down by an ambulance!
