Business Analysis Framework & Roadshows
The Improvement Service have developed and launched a new Business Analysis Framework Toolkit, free of charge for the Scottish Public Sector

Designed to help organisations carry out more effective and formalised business analysis, the framework offers bitesize learning materials, including templates, guidance notes and tutorials, to assist in the analytical phase of business change projects.

To help launch this framework, the IS have held regional roadshows in Aberdeen and Perth and with further sessions planned for late 2016. If you would like to be added to the waiting list for these sessions then e-mail ba@improvementservice.org.uk

Please visit the Business Analysis Portal on the Improvement Service website to find out more.
Scottish Local Government Innovation Lab

The Innovation Lab brings together information on many of the innovative projects being taken forward by Scottish local authorities.  It allows local authorities to access and contribute examples of innovative projects and approaches, in order to share good practice and improve service delivery.

Alternative Models of Service Delivery
The IS is looking to build a new portal with information on ASDMs within Scotland. To help us collect accurate information, we have issued a survey to all 32 Local Authorities and are also conducting desk research on the topic.

If you have information on an ASDM in Scotland then please complete the survey or contact Dave Morton
PSIF & CMN Learning Event
We will be hosting a learning event on 15th September at St.Mungo Muesum in Glasgow. This will be a joint event with colleagues involved in Public Service Improvement Framework (PSIF).

We are in the process of building the agenda for the day. The focus of the event will be on change and improvement planning, the 2016 PSIF review, the Community Empowerment Act and case studies from organisations. We have already secured some speakers, but if you feel that you have something to share with the group or would like to attend, please contact David.Morton@improvementservice.org.uk.

East Renfrewshire PDA in Project Management
