We hope you've been enjoying this steamy, sultry Summer wherever you are spending it. We are writing to make sure you know about LADY BUNNY and company's 2016 edition of WIGSTOCK coming up on Sunday - it's sure to be a fractured family reunion of the tribes from PYRAMID, BOY BAR, JACKIE 60, and beyond. One of the highlights of last Summer was the return of LADY BUNNY'S iconic WIGSTOCK in a new form, as a 1200 passenger Gay Cruise around Manhattan. Factory Captain JOHNNY DYNELL is tickled to be spinning again (along with DC DJ ED BAILEY) for this year's edition, co-presented by SEA TEA. The star-studded lineup alone is worth the ticket price and includes JOHN KELLY as Joni Mitchell, JIMMY JAMES, MICHAEL WEST, CONNIE FLEMING, GLAMAMORE aka DAVID MORE, TABBOO! aka STEPHEN TASHJIAN DUELING BANKHEADS with DAVID ILKU and CLARK RENDER and SF's JUANITA MORE and EBONY JETT. Cruise includes a buffet dinner and photo ops by New York's great landmarks including the Statue of Liberty. Don't miss the boat - last year's edition SOLD OUT!

Beloved authoress, editrix and female-dominant icon TERENCE SELLERS was Downtown Royalty for four decades.  Best known for THE CORRECT SADIST, her 1983 classic tome written as MISTRESS ANGEL STERN, she was also an important force in Night Culture: She left her mark during the MUDD CLUB years, as THE CONTORTIONS cover muse, at JACKIE 60 and its reading series VERBAL ABUSE, at BLACKLIPS and as a Versailles Room fixture at CLICK + DRAG and MOTHER. Like many a Living Legend, her clock ran out suddenly, and she left us in January 2016 after a very brief illness. This being her birthday week in October, we at THE JACKIE FACTORY are organizing a huge tribute at our new clubhouse HOWL HAPPENING - the last place she loved in NYC. 

Readings of her important works including THE CORRECT SADIST and her memoir ONE DECADENT LIFE will be front and center, along with video clips, photographs and a soundtrack of her essential music.  Participants will include members of THE HOUSE OF DOMINATION, FALON, JOHANNA CONSTANTINE, DJ ALTHEA LOVELESS (MOTHER), BOBBY MILLER, CHI CHI VALENTI, GOODIE MAGAZINE and many more - program still in formation. Longtime Jackie Factory co-conspirator ABBY EHMANN aka EDITRIX ABBY was an original co-producer of the pioneering CLICK + DRAG series at MOTHER as well as BURNING MAN and our own GHOSTLIGHT Halloween event for the past few years. Now she has fulfilled a lifelong dream by actually buying her own bar, which she christened LUCKY, on Avenue B close to TOMPKINS SQUARE PARK. It's a tiny place with a great back yard, lots of regulars we know and love and a killer jukebox curated by DJs from great East Village/Downtown clubs of yore (Our own JOHNNY DYNELL and ALTHEA LOVELESS supplied Jackie 60 and House of Domination playlists, among many others.) Though the Grand Opening is not till Saturday 9/24, LUCKY is open and we urge you to stop by any time for a preview (The bar had a "soft opening" earlier this Summer to get all the kinks out.) We will be moving future MOTHERBOARDS meetups there, more on those in future newsletters. Go Abby!
