The life of a writer is full of writing, editing, staring at the screen, and waiting. Another part is contests, the many, many contests. Over the past month I have entered a number of contests, some for poetry, others for short stories, and the NYC Midnight Flash fiction challenge. I don't often post publicly about the contests that I enter, but being an email insider allows you to know what is going and what the results were. Four contests were entered in July with more coming in August and September, I will include the details as they come in.
I am currently discussing illustration options for the Great Outdoor Adventure of Tiny Teddy and will be releasing a fully illustrated second edition in the future. Further to that, I am also working out the details of releasing The Great Outdoor Adventure of Tiny Teddy and The Big Deep as Audio Books, details to come.
As you may have seen on the Calm Scribe social media sites, I was contacted by Channillo to write a series for their website. It is a paid subscription site full of excellent authors. Depending on the package you choose, you can subscribe to different books that are released as a serial. The first chapter of my new book, Project Persyphious, is now live. A link is provided below.
While I have been toiling away at the chapters of Project Persyphious, I have also been putting in work on my new book of short stories, All That is Left Behind. It is a book of shorts that will pull at your rawest emotions. Keep an eye on my website for updates on the progress.
That is it for this month's newsletter, thank you for your continued support.
