New tool to help track sales

Quick form for you tells us about sales on the exchange so we can follow up with carriers 

If you sell on the Federal or Washington State Exchange, you probably know about the intermittent problems with producer-of-record listing on a sale. Connexion can't pay commissions for your sales until the carrier pays us, and the carrier can't pay us if they don't have the proper information from the Exchange.

Now you can fill out a quick form on our website to record the name, birthdate, carrier and date of your Exchange sales. This information gives Connexion a starting place to follow up with carriers to make sure they are properly assigning commissions to you. We follow up, reducing the chance your sale becomes an "orphan account" if the carrier gets Exchange reports without a proper producer-of-record listing.

Sell Molina and Premera Individual in Washington through Connexion
If you haven't already, contact us to secure your appointment for Molina Individual and Family plans so you can sell both Premera and Molina. In 2017, Molina will be available in more counties and will be switching to a per-member-per-month commission format starting with January 1 effective date policies. Molina will pay more for new plans sold during the Open Enrollment Period (OEP) versus after that (SEP). Renewals will be paid at a lower rate than new plans. Connexion will publish a revised commission schedule for 2017 as soon as additional carrier commission is confirmed for 2017.

Premera Find-a-Doctor Tool Update
Now you and your clients can look and see what provider network changes are coming up in the future right on the Find-a-Doctor Tool. Premera no longer waits till the effective date to notify Find-a-Doctor users which new providers are coming on to the network or a provider is leaving the network. As you look at a provider on the tool (sample below), you may see a bold note by the addresses of those that will have a network change coming (currently includes 1/1/2017). This helps your client know for sure if their doctor is changing. 

Coming soon - VSP Individual
Connexion is contracting with VSP to sell vision plans to your Individual and Medicare clients. VSP for Individuals provides you a personalized link for your clients to learn about their plan options and enroll - and you'll get credited for the sale. More information coming soon.
