Review of regulation impacting small business retailers
The Minister for Small Business, Innovation and Trade, Philip Dalidakis, has announced the Small Business Regulation Review to examine the impact of red tape regulation on small businesses in Victoria.
The review's initial focus will be on the retail sector's problems with regulation - activities like getting planning permits, getting sign erecting approval, preparing food safety plans or complying with workplace safety laws.
Stating in a written agreement that your worker is a contractor doesn't mean they are, nor does it protect you from potential penalties for getting it wrong. This is a myth.
Would you like happier, healthier and more productive employees? Let us help you to encourage them to ride to work.
This year, Council is keen to support workplaces to host their own breakfast for Ride2Work day. Council will support workplaces by offering fruit boxes and prizes, advice, promotional materials and links to helpful resources in the lead up to the day.
Some of the many benefits of encouraging employees to ride to work are:
Happier, healthier and more productive employees
Reduced competition for car parking spaces and reduced road congestion
Collins & Co Accountants are the largest accounting firm in the Western Suburbs, looking after small to medium sized businesses across Victoria, with a strong presence in the Western Suburbs.
