Welcome to this summer addition of our Business against Poverty newsletter.
Summer for us means the start of our UK schools programme. I wonder if you are aware they there are hundreds of UK students who have taken what is often a life changing trip to Romania. Whilst these trips are educational they are highly practical. The students first have to raise their own funds for the trip expenses and in addition they raise the money to finance a project such as building a house or a Poly Tunnel to sustain crop farming to support sustainable living for those in rural poverty.
A long partnership exists between our businesses and education partners and we are very proud of the collaboration which adds meaning to the participating organisations whose efforts change and often save lives.
