Feed Your Faith

Join Campus Ministry and more than 30 faith-based organizations for Feed Your Faith on the first floor of the Coleman-Morse Center tomorrow, Aug. 24 from 7 to 9 p.m. Learn about the many opportunities for faith development available to you on campus and stay for the free food trucks, too! Enter through the north or south doors. All are welcome.

Sacramental Preparation

If you are interested in learning more about becoming Catholic or being confirmed at Notre Dame, please join us for one of two informational sessions on Aug. 28 at 2 p.m. or Aug. 31 at 7 p.m. in the Coleman-Morse Center, Room 330. For more information, please email Brett Perkins.


 

Compass Freshman Fellowship

Freshmen interested in meeting other faith-filled freshmen and learning more about what it means to be a Catholic young adult at Notre Dame are invited to attend the Compass Freshman Fellowship informational meeting on Sept. 6 at 7 p.m. in the Coleman-Morse Center First-floor Student Lounge. If you are unable to attend the meeting and are still interested in participating, please email Kayla August.

For Graduate Students

Catholic graduate students are encouraged to celebrate Mass as a community every Friday at 5:15 p.m. in the Basilica of the Sacred Heart. Protestant and Catholic graduate students are also encouraged to gather for Ecumenical Bible Study every Friday at 5:15 p.m. in room 201 of the Coleman-Morse Center. Please be sure to also mark your calendar for this Saturday's Graduate Faith Fair in the FOG parking lot at 5 p.m. In addition, starting Friday, Sept. 2, on the first Friday of every month, graduate students of all faiths are invited to join their fellow students for dinner and socializing in the first-floor lounge of the Coleman-Morse Center at 6:15 p.m. Spouses and children are also encouraged to attend. EXALT Adoration

EXALT Evening adoration will be held on Friday, Sept. 2 from 7:30 to 9 p.m. in the Cavanaugh Hall Chapel. All are invited to join for praise and worship music, reconciliation and a brief meditation. Students may come for a short while or stay the entire time. EXALT Adoration is held the first Friday of each month throughout the academic year. For more information, please email Kayla August.
 

Mass Schedule

There are a lot of options for celebrating Mass on campus. The Basilica of the Sacred Heart offers two daily Masses, three weekend Masses and the Sacrament of Reconciliation three times a day. Mass is also celebrated in all the residence halls and other campus chapels. In addition, students are welcome to celebrate Mass in Spanish in Dillon and Dunne Halls and Mass in the Extraordinary Form (Latin) in Alumni Hall. Join a Choir

All singers are welcome to join the Notre Dame Celebration Choir regardless of previous choir experience. If you plan to join the choir or audition as an instrumentalist, please contact Patrick Kronner.  Students are also invited to audition for the Notre Dame Handbell Choir on Thursday, Aug. 25 and Thursday, Sept. 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Coleman-Morse Center, Room 328. 

 

Liturgical Training

Training for Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion will be held on Sept. 6 at 10 p.m. and Sept. 11 at 3 p.m. Training for Lectors will be held on Sept. 6 at 8:30 p.m. and Sept. 11 at 8:30 p.m. All training sessions will be held in the Basilica. Extraordinary Ministers must renew their commissions annually while Lectors only need to attend a training once. Learn more here
