Dear <<Name>>,
August may not be the biggest month for cookbook publishing, but we still have plenty of reasons to celebrate at Eat Your Books! We've hit another milestone in indexed recipes - over 50,000 recipes from cookbooks that are available online. Plus, another fully indexed magazine has also been added to the EYB Library. We've also added a new feature to the website.
In addition to these exciting announcements, we've got the regular elements you love: the monthly new cookbook roundup, a recap of your favorite links for August, author interviews, cookbook excerpts, and giveaways. Finally, we are highlighting our cheesecake Pinterest board this month. Happy cooking!

We are delighted to announce that we have another fully indexed magazine to add to our collection: GFF (Gluten-Free Forever). This quarterly magazine "celebrates uncompromisingly Good Food (Forever), drinks, and destinations." And, yes, all the recipes are gluten-free, although the magazine promises that "you’ll never taste the difference." Each issue features recipes from top chefs, cookbook authors, and bloggers; tutorials for mastering gluten-free cooking; trends to watch; and much more. Browse all issues of GFF in the EYB Library.

Food & Wine-editor-turned-freelance-writer Kristin Donnelly calls her blog Eat Better Drink Better because that’s what she aims to do most days. By better, Kristin isn't referring to some unattainable, lofty goal, but rather she means tastier, often healthier and more sustainable cooking. Kristin continues to write and develop recipes for Food & Wine as well as publications like Every Day with Rachael Ray, Prevention, Women’s Health, Epicurious and Today.com. She has just published her first cookbook, Modern Potluck. We asked Kristin about the inspiration for the book, and what tips she could give Members on making the most of their own potluck dinners. In their new cookbook Tasting Rome, journalist Katie Parla and photographer Kristina Gill capture cucina romana - Rome's unique character and evolved food culture - a culmination of two thousand years of history. Each recipe was selected for the story it tells, and together the recipes demonstrate how Rome's food culture has evolved over the centuries.
