Introducing Focus West's buyers agent service

We are excited to announce that Focus West Property now provide buyer's agent services!  

Over the past twelve months we've been watching Perth property prices decrease while the number of listings has been steadily increasing. This has created a situation commonly referred to as a buyer's market.

What is a buyers agent?
A buyer's agent is a licensed professional who specialises in searching, evaluating and negotiating the purchase of property on behalf of the buyer.

Buyers agent vs Selling agent
The difference between a selling agent and buyer's agent is as follows:-
  • The selling agent works for the seller
  • The buyer's agent works for the buyer
In a traditional real estate transaction, when you purchase a property the seller pays the selling agent an agreed commission.

Buyers agents are becoming increasingly popular amongst time-poor investors - you may have seen them work for buyers on recent series' of The Block. When engaging a buyer's agent, the buyer pays their commission.
